Armour Magazine

During my senior year of college, I served as co-editor-in-chief of Washington University's style and culture magazine. This meant dozens of late night meetings in the Wash U student center laying out editorials, reworking our budget to squeeze in just four more pages into the latest issue, taking breaks from my homework to illustrate articles about sock and boot combinations, and working with some of the most talented, creative individuals I've ever met.

WUIR

Switching gears to a different type of student publication--I also served as a member of Washington University International Review's editorial board. I edited and produced Volume III of the peer-reviewed academic journal. Exploring the concept of "Protest" through the journal and accompanying conference with local St. Louis activists was, in retrospect, incredibly timed, as it was just two months before the 2014 Ferguson protests.

Paris Blog

While living in Paris as an exchange student at Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne, I needed some kind of outlet to document my experiences. Since I didn't want to bore my readership (consisting of my mother and maybe one or two friends) with verbose tales of what I had eaten for breakfast or how many museums I had visited, I decided to recount my experiences via doodle. And that is how my Paris blog was born.
